Who are we?
We are the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication of the University of Cádiz. Our studies are focused on the areas of Social Sciences and Communication. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate studies (masters and doctoral degrees) and high-quality training in both academic and research spheres.
Undergraduate degrees
Degree in Public Management and Administration
We specialise in training qualified public administration professionals for administrative and financial management. Our students are trained in extra-legal techniques and procedures (computer science, accounting, economics, sociology, etc.) to carry out all the tasks in this sector to work in public administration (local, regional, state, European, etc.), public companies, managing private organisations and consulting companies and public administration service providers.
Degree in Marketing and Market Research
Study a degree with excellent prospects and a wide range of job opportunities: consulting and business consulting; products, services and ideas; packaging design; branding; head of pricing policies; distribution and logistics; commercial communication, merchandising, and commercial event management. Digital marketing has become the pivot on which companies’ communication turns. As digital marketing develops, countless professional profiles emerge, such as Community Manager, Online Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, Content Manager, E-Commerce Manager, Digital Analyst, Copywriter, and SEO/SEM Specialist.
Degree in Advertising and Public Relations
If you are passionate about creating stories, design, event management, media relations, advertising campaigns, or promoting new ideas in society: This is your degree. The Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations trains students in two disciplines in Communication Studies. Our graduates work in advertising agencies (account management, strategic planning, creativity, production, design, media planning, etc.) and the field of Public Relations, companies, public institutions and third-sector companies’ communication offices.
Degree in Tourism
Tourism is one of the pillars of the Spanish economy. Currently, Spain ranks third in the number of international tourist visitors. This upward trend has led to the creation of new products and tourist destinations, making tourism a multidisciplinary sector with numerous job opportunities, which requires professionals with specialised training. Our degree will give you advanced knowledge to work in different tourism sector areas: accommodation, intermediation, and the planning and management of tourist destinations or products.
Double Degree in Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing and Market Research

Double Degree in Advertising, Public Relations and Tourism
The double degree in Advertising and Public Relations and Tourism trains professionals to fully adapt to the current reality of the tourism sector, enabling students who complete this degree to obtain an exciting professional profile for both the communication and tourism sector. Students can even access specific jobs due to their specialised training in the booming tourism industry. These positions include tourism communication: management of tourist agency or hotel chain communication, design of campaigns for tourist destinations, etc.
Double Degree in Marketing and Market Research and Tourism
Marketing is taking on a decisive role due to the growth and new challenges in the tourism sector; to such an extent, it is difficult to conceive tourism without marketing today. The double degree in Marketing and Market Research and Tourism provides students with the skills from both degrees. With this degree, students will be able to work in both the tourism and marketing sectors. You will even be able to work in positions requiring training in both sectors with such a specialised profile: marketing management of a tourist agency or hotel chain, promoting tourist destinations, etc.
Masters Degree
Master in Public Management and Administration
The main objective of this Master’s Degree is to provide students with high-level training, so they have the technical competencies, knowledge and skills necessary to carry out pre-directive or managerial functions and the values, attitudes and culture to work in Public Administration.
Master in Digital and Social Marketing Management
This university master’s degree trains students to master valuable techniques for planning and managing Digital Marketing strategies for companies (especially SMEs), institutions and non-profit organisations. The contents cover aspects such as Internet business, market research, statistics and web analytics, strategic marketing, Internet branding, reputation, Internet presence and improving conversions, viral, mobile, and blended marketing, the strategy and management of social networks, Internet advertising, e-commerce, digital marketing for non-profit organisations and SEO, among others.
Master in Tourism Management
The objective of this university master’s degree is to train professionals who can carry out leadership, management, consulting and evaluation tasks in the tourism sector in public, private and other non-profit organisations.
Interuniversity Master in Strategic Management and Innovation in Communication
This master’s degree is aimed at students’ professional and research training in communication. The Master’s Degree in Strategic Management and Innovation in Communication considers communication from an integral and holistic perspective. It trains students to perform professionally in institutions, companies or non-government organisations in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
